Manchester United Plush Jersey

I am not an MU fan, not even Harimau Malaya, but this plush jersey I made is for a little newborn baby boy whose his father is a fan of one. Made of felt and 100% hand-sewn, stuffed with poly fiber and love.

I hand-embroidered the name Khalish.

The MU logo was carefully cut and sewn in place. I am human and it wasn't perfect but at least you can still recognize it from afar!

The size is comparable to 15" x 15" cushion

I sewn a Nike Elastico futsal shoe as well:

Let's kick it!

My Weekend Project #5: Ribbon-tied Chair Pad

It was a cleaning session in the house last weekend and my mama found this old foam baby mattress. I stopped her when she decided to throw it away! I'd make something out of it and the chair pad idea popped first in my mind.

It took me an hour to finish a pad, plus some wasting minutes where my 2 years old daughter came and make a fuss around my working area *sigh*. I made two pieces since there were two naked chairs on the porch, and ended up 2 hours making those. Here is the how-do-I-do-it steps:

Don't get the wrong idea about the pictures, it was easier than it looked. Trust me.

Have a comfy seat!

Butterfly Wedding Corsage

Made based on customer's design.

It could be a bling if I added some sequins on their wings though, but I left my sequins box at home (I was at my hometown kampung when I made these) *duh*. Satisfaction is the key and somehow, the bride is happy with the bug. Yeay!

The purple butterflies flew to bride's BFF, the greens went to the cameramen and the orange butterflies perched on the bride's family.

16 butterflies ready to migrate

I like the beautiful butterflies, but I hate their offsprings, CATERPILLARS *runaway*.

On the D-Day (1st December 2012), they wore them:

Hoping for an endless happiness for the newly wed! Amin.

Soft Toy: Felt Caterpillar

I am a caterpillar phobia. I can hear the word 'caterpillar', but just don't let me see them either in pictures or reality! There was a time when I fainted after I wrongly touched a bright yellow-black-caterpillar while plucking grass in the backyard *terrified*. This might sound strange since I made two felt caterpillars. Well, it's for the sake of my ex-colleague who wants to give her newborn a soft toy, which I can't resist.

Each consists of eight segments with animal/ocean kingdom applique on top respectively.

The real size, the caterpillar is quite lengthy, more than 24".

Owh, I almost forgot about the numbers at the back:
