Green MiMoo with Choco Spots

 This Mimoo is special. To me and to the owner. 

To me because this is my first craft with my "sarang craft" label. 

To the owner for it is customized to have numbers sewn on its body. From 0 to 9.

The same cuddly mimoo. With curly eye-lashes, cute milk-bag, shaggy tail, material of felt and 100% handmade with love. 

I am so glad I was able to sew my label on. Finally. And to enjoy that feeling, the lucky owner does not need to spend a penny on this MiMoo of his. Totally free of charge. Spread the happiness.

Couple Cows Plushie

The cows are in love, and so are the owners. They were made specially for a friend of mine, who is finally found her soul mate. Why cow? Ask her then.

The couple have stripe bodies made from cotton fabric, whilst the details e.g eyes, ears, horn etc made of felt and stuffed with poly fiber. They were approximately 1 foot in size and can keep your head comfy enough as a pillow.

They have a zippered pocket at their back, to hold love letters. Auww~

Butterfly Wedding Corsage

Made based on customer's design.

It could be a bling if I added some sequins on their wings though, but I left my sequins box at home (I was at my hometown kampung when I made these) *duh*. Satisfaction is the key and somehow, the bride is happy with the bug. Yeay!

The purple butterflies flew to bride's BFF, the greens went to the cameramen and the orange butterflies perched on the bride's family.

I like the beautiful butterflies, but I hate their offsprings, CATERPILLARS *runaway*.

Soft Toy: Felt Caterpillar

I am a caterpillar phobia. I can hear the word 'caterpillar', but just don't let me see them either in pictures or reality! There was a time when I fainted after I wrongly touched a bright yellow-black-caterpillar while plucking grass in the backyard *terrified*. This might sound strange since I made two felt caterpillars. Well, it's for the sake of my ex-colleague who wants to give her newborn a soft toy, which I can't resist.

Each consists of eight segments with animal/ocean kingdom applique on top respectively.

The real size, the caterpillar is quite lengthy, more than 24".  

Owh, I almost forgot about the numbers at the back:

Polkadot Snake

Seems like polkadot is a trend now.

This isn't a wild one. It is made of felt, stuffed with polyester fiber, and will cause you no harm. The polkadot is made of the same material of felt, with uniform circles along its body. The green background suits to camouflage with the forest environment, don't you think?

Soft Toy: Coffee MiMoo

It looks quite the same with the first Mimoo the Lembu I made, only the color of the spots differ. This time it's darker, hence the coffee nickname.

Carnation Tissue Flower with Lovely Bird Topper

I never had enough with tissue flower. It just looked so gorgeous on any table yet so easy to make. I volunteered myself to make flower centerpieces for guest tables for a wedding ceremony, namely my brother-in-law's. There were 21 tables altogether, and so be the bunches of flowers I have to make. I didn't think of any flower except this easy DIY carnation. I made the carnations tissue flowers in four beautiful colors. Tadaaa:

Maroon

Navy blue

Red

Yellow

There were 3 carnations combined using floral tape to make a bunch of flower. I used IKEA Fantastisk tissue (40cm x 40cm). The tissue is so big, I can make 8 carnations from only one tissue. I wonder how many carnations can be created from a packet of the tissue *imagination in progress*. 

Actually, in real ceremony, I inserted a handful of potpouri inside the cone vase, to make it looked full and more bellissimo. It was my bad I didn't take a single picture on the d-day. I left my camera at home.

There were 21 birds for 21 bunches of carnations.

As for the lovely bird on top of the flower, it was solely my idea. I did think of bee and butterfly, but the birds came out instead. I used felt, with polyester stuffing and colorful stitching (I just love experimenting with colors).

Soft Toy: MiMoo the Lembu Green Version

I don't know what MiMoo is eating but she turned out green!


It is the same MiMoo, only the colors differ. Custom order, pick any color you want and a friend of mine chose green with black spots. Nice. Green MiMoo has the same features like the previous normal-MiMoo, including shaggy tails, milk bag, curly eyelashes and the cuddly size. 

Any blue MiMo after this? :-)

SSSneaky Schnake is Back!

It is a turquoise schnake with zig zag pattern.

Soft Toy: MiMoo the Lembu

It is a cow this time. Took me 4 days to finish this masterpiece - well, it include the daily house chores of course. Its name is MiMoo and she is made from polyester felt, stuffed with polyester fiber and 100% handsewn with love. I put some interesting features for MiMoo:
